Fellow Space Grant Directors:

As Space Grant Directors, we are always trying to improve state ties to the various NASA centers.  The National Space Grant Foundation recently assumed the management of the NASA Ames Education Associates Program (see http://edassoc.arc.nasa.gov/).  This program matches students and faculty from across the country to openings for temporary support, research, and internships at NASA Ames.  I encourage you to have your affiliates review the position openings (there are 9 as of this morning) on a regular basis and apply when eligible.  There is no cost to Space Grant Consortia to participate in this program.  It would be great to have all 52 Consortia participate.  We hope to replicate this very successful program to other NASA centers, giving us even more opportunities to build even more relationships with the Centers.

I have attached a file indicating who has participated in the past. 

Many thanks to Mike Wiskerchen (Director, CASGC) for winning this for us and to Dale Stansbury who runs the program on a daily basis.
