Winners of 2024 Dan Swets Robotics Materials Awards

The 2024 grant winners included four awards to seven educators who won the following amounts to purchase robotics materials for their school classrooms, labs, or other robotics programs. 
Total award amount just over $13,500.

·         Marie Gosse of Brandon Valley School District won ($4,982) for Sphero robots, reaching 425 6th graders.

·         Teddie Crevier, Jessica Krueger, Laurie Wenger of Adventure Elementary / Harrisburg School District won $4,800 for Lego SPIKE Prime sets reaching 227 elementary students.

·         Brit Porterfield of Whitewood Elementary in Meade County won $2,087 for Lego robots.

·         Raeann Mettler of Missouri Breaks Industries Research Inc. won $1,646 for the Carolina® Robotic Hand Classroom Kit for their STEM outreach to middle and high school students on the Cheyenne River Reservation.
